Pastor David Wruck was born and grew up in area around Orange Park, Florida. He had the privilege to be born into a Christian home, and he was saved as a boy and was later baptized. He and his family faithfully attended the Berean Baptist Church. He was very active in the church, attending the church services, the various activities, and the church’s Christian school.
As a teenager, Pastor felt the call of God to enter Christian service. So, upon graduation from high school, Pastor enrolled at Hyles-Anderson, a Bible college in Indiana. He served the Lord there in the ministries, and it was there that he met his wife, Kathy. While still in college, the Lord blessed and gave them their 3 children, Victoria, David Paul, and Elizabeth.
After graduating from Bible college, Pastor moved his family to Richmond, Virginia and served as assistant pastor at the Victory Baptist Church. There he served two men of God, Larry Cochran and Miguel Acosta, by various pastoral duties and as principal of the Christian school. Pastor planned on giving his life there, but the Lord had other plans. In 2010, the Lord began working in his heart, and after much prayer and counsel, he yielded again to God’s will, this time to Pastor.
He was contacted by the Allen Baptist Church in summer of 2011. He and his family candidated twice, and on September 4th, the church called him with a 100% vote. Pastor Wruck answered the call, and moved his family to Michigan. His first Sunday as pastor was September 18, 2011.
